Opie
Opie is a opposum. Opie was found injured and malnourished. Something had chewed off most of his tail and he had several bite wounds. He is a cutie with lots of spunk. I feed him and cared to his wounds. Happily he made it though and was released back into the wild last week.
Freddy the squirrel update.
Freddy is thriving and growing, not only in size but in attitude. He becoming slightly aggressive. That is right where he should be. I hope to set a release date for him soon.
Opposums Update
My 8 opposums are now only 7. One little boy died peacefully in his sleep. The other 7 seem strong. I hope with tender and consistent care the rest of the opposums will survive.

8 Little Opposums
Received on Tuesday April 20, 2010
These are 8 little opposums. 6 boys and 2 girls. Their mom was hit by a car. A concerned passing motorist noticed and found 8 little opposums. They are slightly dehydrated and malnourished. They were all extremely cold when I got them. They are all holding their own and fighting to live. I noticed improvement at every feeding. They are eating every 2-3 hours and gaining strength. It is still hard to say their outcome right now. I truly hope and pray for their improvement and eventually release. I will keep frequent updates on them so keep in touch.

Freddy
Received on Monday April 19, 2010
This is Freddy. He is a little squirrel. He is approximately 6 weeks old.
Freddy was found in some mulch. Luckily, he was found by a caring family. They loved and cared for him for about a week until they found me. They did a wonderful job.
Freddy is improving daily and hopefully his eyes will open soon. I will keep you updated on his progress.
